Jasper Hill Farm was founded by brothers Mateo and Andy Kehler. They have about 45 Ayrshire cows grazing in the hills of Vermont’s picturesque Northeast Kingdom. Their staff controls the health and diet of the cows to get the best milk, and the best milk makes the best cheese!

The cheese ripens in the Cellars at Jasper Hill, along with cheese from several other producers. The Cellars are a one-of-a-kind underground cheese aging facility where the staff carefully calibrates temperature and humidity in each of the seven vaults.

From the rocky hillside pastures we harvested some of the most unique stones in we’ve ever seen in our studio! Many of the black and gray stones have lines of quartz or pyrite that make unusual patterns that are really brought out by our artisans. They take a lot more time for to polish, but the result is definitely worth it!

Jasper Hill Farm’s cheeses are award winning, and extremely delicious. You can find them at markets across the US, including right next to us at the Boston Public Market!
