Jana Dengler and Maryanne Reynolds restored a 1700s New England farm back to productive use, and with a name like Stone Harvest Farm, we knew we had to visit them! Stone Harvest Farm is nestled along the Quabbin Reservoir in Petersham, MA. The combination of woodland and open fields creates a way of farming that is beneficial to both the land and the animals. Their livestock includes cashmere goats, yaks, and Guinea fowl. Jana and Maryanne have a goal to produce value-added products, and really enjoy working with local artisans. They specialize in beautiful, cloud-soft cashmere goat fibers, but also produce milk and meat from their animals. You can learn more about Stone Harvest Farm here.
