Eat a meal on a piece of New England history. This unique handcrafted stone dish is carved from a single fieldstone by artisan Gerald Croteau in his Massachusetts workshop. The stone goes through precision cutting before its gently-sloped interior is carved by hand. An 11-stage diamond polishing process is then used to permanently reveal the stone’s hidden colors and mineral patterns. Food-safe sealer is also applied to the serving surface, making it ideal for entrées with sauces, charcuterie, appetizers, or fresh fruits. The rimmed fieldstone dish also works as a plant display, trivet, or sculptural centerpiece between gatherings.
