This handcrafted cooking stone set is made from premium black granite and includes a durable steel lifting handle and two wooden resting blocks. Designed for family meals and entertaining, the larger cooking surface allows you to grill, bake, serve, and present food with ease.
Each natural granite stone is carefully cut, honed, and finished by artisan Gerald Croteau in his Massachusetts workshop. Unlike manufactured or ceramic grilling surfaces, this granite stone distributes heat evenly, beautifully searing steaks, seafood, vegetables, burgers, kebabs, and other grilled favorites. The stone also retains heat long enough to continue cooking while using the steel lifting handle to serve at the table underneath the wooden resting block.

Care Instructions

Product Conditions
The stone is completely natural and resin-free, which allows it to season naturally through repeated use. Because each cooking stone is made from natural granite, it’s common for there to be variations in mineral pattern, color, and texture as part of its unique character. For this reason, your cooking stone might have minor pocks, edge chips, scratches, and other superficial marks that do not affect its performance. Every stone has been carefully inspected to ensure it is structurally sound before leaving the workshop.

Sustainable Packaging
I use 100% compostable paper packaging and wrapping. No plastic anywhere. I also use recycled corrugated boxes, paper gum tape, and recycled kraft paper for void fill.
This does not sacrifice the safety of your item. Please compost the boxes and void fill paper if possible. This is a sustainable product, through and through.
Product gift boxes are either branded by hand with a hot branding iron or hand stamped with ink, and can all be composted.
